- Discontinue use if signs of gastrointestinal bleeding or ulceration occur
- May impair fertility; use caution in women attempting to conceive
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding:
Pregnancy: Aceclofenac is contraindicated during the third trimester due to potential risks to the fetus. Use during the first and second trimesters should be avoided unless the potential benefits justify the potential risks to the fetus.
Breastfeeding: Limited data are available regarding the excretion of aceclofenac in human milk. Caution is advised when administering aceclofenac to breastfeeding women, and the decision should be made to either discontinue breastfeeding or discontinue the drug, considering the importance of the drug to the mother.
